Am thinking of saving and getting the XE rebuilt instead of wondering whats up with it and why its slower than it should be.

To me this has two advantages -
1. i can make sure i have a fresh, well working engine, and when i have it rebuilt get new cams and pistons.
2. I wont have to fix it bit by bit as it goes on.

I can drive it easily for a few months no probs while i save. I could possibly get 1500 - 2000 if i dont go out drinking too much and am sensible. That should allow for a rebuild with what i want.

Question is, anyone know of reputable company's for rebuilding in north yorkshire/north east or reputable people as im wanting to get it done properly, and not by me.
I've found www.performanceunlimited.co.uk in york, who do engine building, just got to see if they can do a vauxhall block, and also a local motorsport company.

Just dont want to spend this money on a rebuild and it to shoot a rod 5k down the line.
