Dislocated my knee tonight, kneecap went round to the side of my leg. Quite painful, alot of hurting and sitting in A&E waiting for retarded nurses to work on me and give me xrays.
Got to go in an ambulance tho, had gas and air (makes you feel totally wasted, didnt like that much). Had some morphine.. which ive gotta say is the best thing ive ever had, they popped it back into place after 4 hours of agonising pain, Great fun.

I ruptured my medial and lateral ligaments when dilocating my knee playing Rugby. I never forget feeling physically sick when I looked at my leg and the bottom half was at a 45 degree angle

Funnily enough I havent a clue how I did it, we were out celebrating a friends 21st birthday, songs were playing, people were dancing as usual, i wasnt going mad or anything, I just must of put too much weight on one leg and twisted, next thing I know im on the floor and clutching my leg, cant bend it in anyway. My knee cap was round to the left of my leg..
Bouncers came running over, some battle axe woman bouncer was ready to chuck me out as they thought I was drunk, luckily one of them saw the reason why and a friend of mine was shouting at them!
Had x-rays, got to go back today to get more x-rays to make sure theres no permenant ligament damage or anything like that, and they will check everything over. I am on crutches at the moment with a cricket pad type cast. They may need to give me a full on cast..

With regards as to popping it back in place, after a few hours of the pain becoming worse and worse and worse, they finally gave me some morphine... woman was taking her jolly old time to prepare that!
They cut my favorite jeans off, i had an xray and they popped it back into place.. Up to that point I was in alot of pain, but as soon as he popped it back into place (which actually didnt hurt all that much compared to what I was feeling, maybe it was the morphine) It felt soo much better immediately.
Gotta say tho, morphine is a wonder drug, Its like an immediate pain number, not in a bad way doesnt make you feel ill at all, made me feel instantly happier about the whole thing!
Had a gorgeous girl I know with me all night, she took care of loads of stuff for me and came with me to the hospital etc, so I really owe her, we didnt drop her back till 5 this morning
All the local hospitals were on divert, on a freaking wednesday?! So I had to be taken to a hospital about an hour away in tondbrige wells.
Oh and Ill get some pics tonight off the phones

this happened to a lad we were playing 6-a-side with bout a year ago. wasn't a bad challenge or anything, he just turned on the spot and next thing he was on the floor screaming with his knee-cap roung the side of his leg. felt really sorry for the guy as he was obviously in allot of pain and he was freaking out everytime he looked at it.
Drax - i'd say you need to take this gorgeous girl out to make it up to her. get in there lad!

I did my knee a few years ago. I was in my kitchen and twisted around but my knee didnt like it and came out the socket It made me collapse but as I fell it twisted it back in which is a bonus Still hurt like fuck though and so got a lift to hospital and then had crutches for a week or so.
