no one home to talk to so ill tell you lot
woke up today expectin to spend a tenner at most and ended up spendin 257 which is alot when you compare it to my bank account
for ages i thought my MOT was in november
so i forgot all about it, and today thought, i need two new tyres on the front, ah ill wait for the MOT then get them... so ill go see when i need them by...looking at the sheet,
runs out on 4th september 2007... right......so i need my tyres byyyyy... OH SHIT!
so had to get me stuff together, go round A2 tyres, two new tyres lads!. and hopefully then find a garage to do my mot there n then.... so went n got two new tyres, and then they come over askin me all about the car, bla bla bla and then the big guy pipes up and starts to say havin different tyres front n back is an mot failure he thinks, not overly sure.
i was like.... wha... dont think so is it?? not overly knowing, i had 185/55 on the back and 195/50 on front now.... and tbh i couldnt risk an mot failure on the tyres lol, so i thought shite i better get two more just in case, kept the two decent ones though cos they didnt need doing. so that was 197 quid *feelin sorry for myself thinkin i should have bought them toyos on ebay for 130 odd quid when i had the chance lol*
now had 4 new tyres, had to go get an on the spot mot, which over the last 4 years, my sister, dad, brother and myself have never achieved lol, got one at the first garage i went to! top guys there! done me mot, brickin it throughout as usual! but it passed with a reccomendation to look at the rust on the cat joints, they were moanin about my rear wheel bearings :S.... i thought there shouldnt be any wheel movement when its jacked up doin the wheel bearing checks... and there isnt, they are brand new, done them about 4 weeks ago, and they were sayin they need to have some movement?? so i just said ill sort that then lol. 50 quid there for the mot!
and earlier in the day id been to vauxhall to grab some star silver 2 paint to do some work... 10 quid... which is all i wanted to spend today really lol
wasnt impressed when i thought i had 2 months to go on the MOT and then found out its out of date by 15 days

So does my dads M3. Might be different for FWD, but think they billy bullshitted.
Whether it was an MOT failure or not, it's safer to have the same tyres etc on a car anyway, if you get my drift.
