Maybe they were reading high, where abouts is "Avenida de las Americas"?

its just part of the address mate... it still is las americas.

my spanish is pish but its probably just something to do with the street or the address.

Ace, Those advertising boards with the clock and temperature on were defo in the 30's when I was there. First time I've been there, was amazing .

I went on the minigolf there

I've only ever been abroad once before, to Egypt in March with Colin and it was amazing.

Going by what you're all saying I think we'll enjoy Tenerife just as much.

To be honest theres some right shite bits of tenerife , but where u are staying is the ideal location to be based at.

bout 2mins walk u have the massive las vista's beach and you are right on the border with los cristianos aswell.

i went to tenerife last month and loved every minute of it!

if you go to the right places food and drink is very cheap

i was buying a litre of wine from the local shop for less than a euro

and they sell strongbow on draught always a bonus

it will be lovely weather you will love it

supermarket right across the road from u does smirnoff vodka - 1 litre for 9 euros

oh wow ure stayin at a really gorgeous hotel! in the nicest part of the island let alone las americas! nicest bars and shops. while ure here try and go to the monkey beach club, its a cocktail bar right on the beach with great music and the drinks are gorgeous!

yesterday it was really really hot, i saw a sign reading 44 degrees im sure it was faulty tho! although today is colder with a tiny bit or drizzle, although im further up the mountain

not workin, decided to go home for a bit so ive not bothered. while im home im doing a tiling course so when i come back im gonna try do that for work

i went a while back place called little italy did great pizza' , mini golf was great, watch out for "ladies of the night" though.

thats the one thing that i've noticed has got quite bad up the far end of las americas (vernonicas - palm beach hotel)....

we were gettin asked by guys and lassies into brothels for "bloeee jab fifteeeen euro"

by our hotel in ibiza there is a brothel, its called 'playgirl' and looks seedy as fuck
