Author total vauxhall - i feel cheated

was happily browsing this months total vauxhall (freshly bought yesterday) when i noticed a corsa 1.4 sport running 112bhp with apparantly just a decat pipe (page 99).sounded a bit suspicious but on closer inspection of the pic it clearly has an induction kit. not saying that this would gain extra bhp but leads me to believe that it may not "just" have a decat pipe.but then i noticed unless i'm much mistaken the engine in the engine bay of this p reg 1.4 16v sport is actually a 8v shock horror!!but how could this be making 112bhp with the standard inlet on (as shown in pic).i feel so cheated and dirty,like someone has fed me a mouth full of lies just to get me into bed only to find out the next day that i have been used.

hahahahahaha.

just thort i shud let you all know the dirty 2 timing using scum that is total vauxhall magazine.

any extra info about said car please post!!

just like the 1.2 8v that made 65bhp tbh with just exhaust + induction kit or something silly but that's rolling roads for you.

They've been doing stuff like that ever since the mag came out years ago.

I remember a 1.4 16v that was actually a 1.6 16v.

Also, Matt Crowthers comment was something like "its all good innit"

Anyone that knew Matt knew he never ever spoke like this

my mate has a 1.2 8v running 89bhp.its been cammed with system and twin 40's tho

I doubt it, the 1.2 8v is poorly designed and not really meant for power

i wouldnt say poor designe as they are preety much solid engines just not fast at all they were made to last which they have proven.
