how much does it cost you a year roughly? im quite intrested in getting into it, but im not sure what type of car would be more fun and more reliable to drive, ie a small hatch metro gti, 205 gti, ax gt etc or more higher powered saloons such as preludes, r32 skylines, gto's, fc rx7's etc
how do most people get them there? just keep them mot'd and taxed and drive down on the day? with day insurance/low mileage car insurance?
are there that many track days in a year? can you just turn up and get into it straight away or is there ways about doing it? anything i should know? tips?

Cost depends how many you do and what you do, they usually start at 100 ish for an airfield or 'lesser known' track. Hatch like a 106, 205 or clio is great if thats your budget, for something different and a bit more interesting look at mx5s and mr2s.
I drove my corsa everyday but it was not as hardcore as it could have been, again depends what you can afford, to run 2 cars or not. My insurance includes trackday cover, just have to let them know when it is.
Check the links above, there is loads of trackdays, summer and winter! You need to book in advance, you usually need a full driving license and a car that is not going to fall apart and a helmet.
