right me and my mate both have fully rebuilt c20lets in our corsas. his has a hybrid turbo and a port n polished head, mine is stadard, both mine and his have large front mounted intercoolers and everything else is identical
now raced him before and he blitzed me? now just fitted phase chips/eg etc. now had a quick play again and his still beats me on half a bar where as mine about a bar. now i cant see how this is??
now he works for powertec who build engines for radical and he dyno'd his car just after it was built and came out to 164bhp at the wheels.
some time this week me and his and dyno'in both on the same day as were are both confused to how he has the extra power?
anyone got any ideas on how as i cant see his turbo and head affecting it that much and that low boost?

the ease of it flowing air into the engine even though forced induction it still helps a fair bit. at 1 bar my turbo makes 340bhp, at 1 bar my kkk made 269.
what abotu exhaust bore size etc

both are running 2.5'' exhaust systems
mines running 12psi at the minute and his is still on standard boost
will put up the dyno sheets when there done, should be weds/thurs

You sure he isnt lieing about the boost? why anyone would run standard boost on a hybrid i dont know.
Does your car feel ok when driving, does it feel like its holding back? Boosts ok?
What phase chips you running?

we have both driven each others n his is only running half a bar held. mine near double that.
mine feels fine, i didnt think anything was wrong with it till i had a go in his.
just wanna see what the dyno comes out at and see if his turbo hold power more than mine, well thats what i think anyway.
just strange how his is only half the boost
