does anyone else have problems with this?
The community safety police car is now pullling every modded car thats going to my house and giving them hortys an checking all the tyres etc!
Heres a pic, got better ones on my cam of them taking my mates details!

Planning on photocopying all the hortys forms my mates get an if i get a few then make a harrassment claim!

My mate had a 2.0 nova and got stopped ALL the time, at least once a week, with a loud exhaust and tints etc... was 5 years ago, not sure if they do this now but... he had a "pink slip" which he showed the officer and he was on his way.

You only see them pull the ones near your house.
I don't believe for one second that they only pull them.

no they follow the modded motors as the ones with my site stickers on them are easily noticable then when they stop outside my house they pull them. They dont pull any of my other neighbours.

Someone on your street has probably complained about you if you have that many modded motors visiting you.

Don't do/have anything illegal and it's not a problem.

there have been a few complaints becuase its a fairly quiet area and the neighbours dont like me working on cars in the street an they dont like my mates polishing their cars infront of my house.
Does it not constitute as harrassment?
I dont see how 5 cars been polish mid afternoon on a saturday creates a reason to call the police? The other thing that must annoy them is cars with non standard exhausts coming and going late at night but my mates be as quiet as they can if its late.

That's your reason then.
5 cars parked up around the street is gonna piss people off, so someones probably put a complaint in and this is how the Plods are dealing with it. Why can't your mates polish their cars at home

go on a vigilanty mission around your street till you find who's putting complaints through, had this before people in my girlfriends street thought my exaust was 2 loud so kept calling the police everytime i turned up, in the end i found out who it was and it was 1 of the neighbours that was nice as pie to me, just keep taking pics and note how long people are parked there before being pulled, but probs still wont get anywhere

Some people are so petty these days. They are basically complaining about you socializing with your mates. Pretty fooking ridiculous imo. What exactly can a police officer do to your mates if they have completely legal cars and are leaving your house late? Iv'e never seen or heard of a law against this anyway.
Have a massive bbq and your neighbours will shit themselves lol.

Section 59 and/or ASBO at a guess?
If people want to have some peace and quiet at home and the street's full of noisy cars it's not hard to understand why they're getting pissed off.

It's not as though they are revving their engines all day or anything is it?
Unless of course marks not told us that bit yet, but i doubt they are revving engines.

I dont see it as petty, boys who drive modified cars have loud exhaust's,and id be pissed off,if every two minutes i heard an exhaust trying to sound like a space shuttle churn down my street.
I live by the snooker club (local chav hangout) Where loads of who like theyre cars and drive modified cars hang around and to be honest i get pissed off hearing it every two seconds especially when some of the cars you can feel it rumble all through my house.
So to be honest i know how they feel and id also put a complaint in myself if i was in their situation, dont get me wrong i love cars, but it annoys the shit out of me all the time.

All I'm saying is that it's a residential area, not a pit lane, so don't be surprised if people kick up a fuss when it's treated as such.
I don't think the Police are picking on Mark, I think they're just responding to public pressure - it does happen sometimes!

its very annoying having wankers with loud exhausts driving past your house all day long, its even worse at night when you are trying to watch the TV - you cant turn it up cos you will wake the rest of the house - or when trying to get to sleep cos all u get is shite exhaust notes droning at you

once they have given everyone horties and noticed everything is legal they will leave you alone. tbh i would be pissed off if my neighbour had lots of cars visiting all the time making noise

plus it would only be harrassment if they were constantly pulling you over, not just people who visit your house

If you can prove they only pulling modded motors then surely discrimination, but try proving it, no chance.
