- when you install a subwoofer upsidedown? I've obviously seen it done but does it make any differencd at all?

the only thing that will change is the volume of the box because it dosnt have to have the sub in it. itll sound exactly the same unless it has a nosie back plate or motor, if they make noise when in operation then you dont want to reverse mount them cause they will make funny sounds.

You should usually invert the phase when doing this, or there will be an option on most headunits to chage the output to suit
