a mate has a redtop fitted in his tigra and has had a crash so is stripping it. hes selling the engine complete with mounts and driveshafts etc and was wondering if it will go straight into a corsa or will i need different mounts and shafts?

cheers robin, just dont no if i have the balls the give it ago and try putting it in myself with help from friends

are the exhuasts the same on a tigra and corsa?

A tigra downpipe is the same as a 1.4/1.6 corsa sport one.
Not sure about the system.

Tigra and corsa chassis are the same iirc so cant seee why the exhaust wont fit

Arent mounts diffrent, sure Lee M did one, and had to mount the engine lower to miss the bonnet

yea, forgot about that.
will need a corsa conversion mount,

mate with a tigra front had to lower his mount due to engine hitting bonnet

your's is type 2 shell, so £90 from chris astley..

may be able to buy the £50 one, if the tigra bodywork mount fit's the corsa..
cant see why it wont fit

i was once told a tigra was a corsa in a tracksuit.

u can probably redrill the bodywork mount from the tigra so it drops it an inch

Forgot about the mount

All the exhaust is the same apart from the backbox (on a standard car, not sure about aftermarket, they might be the same)
