the 1.4 rover

and the 1.4 mg's have same engine,,,

But the zr produces 105bhp and the rover is under 100?

The MGs have the 105bhp, the rovers have either a lower powered (normal) 1.4 which something like 86bhp OR the 105 bhp the MG uses. Depends on the model as some used both and some only one or the other IIRC.

if you take the oil cap off one will say 90ps and the other 110ps underneath it

i used to have a rover (bubble shape) 1.4 16v and it was very quick for what it was
