I've not seen one in the flesh, but they do look really nice and the spec/media reports do seem to see it edge out the 911's and comparables.

Both inspired by the LMQ concept, the R8 took more from it whilst TT used influences.

I'd say most of the new cars coming from Audi have at least a tinge of generic design, especially from the front, would you agree with that Ash?

Sure, most manufacturers have a design theme, BMW has the Bangle Flame styling, the new Jags will be based on the C-XF and Audi uses the grill. All about promoting brand identity.
