i was off yesterday so thought might go test drive the ctr and see what the big deal is about

overall a lovely car
it was completely standard, and just a baby with only 7000 miles on clock!!!
but a hefty £15k price tag from honda dealer lol!

anyway everything was fine however i only got chance to floor it once in 2nd gear upto about 6-7k rev

was not quite the monster i was expecting though lol
or is it because its completely standard, no zhorst, induction or sound and i did not really push it that much?? so did i expect too much lol i drive a modified corsa B Gsi normally

to be fair, Rob R is right isn't he?

You say you took it up to 6k... but it won't be in vtec until after about 7k will it?

therefore if you were in 2nd gear at say 2000-3000 rpm and nailed it, it'd sit there like a lump of lard, slowly climbing to about 6k.... then as you hit about 7 it'd rocket away?

You need to drive the car hard to really enjoy it. Took me a good 90 minutes before I found a driving style that the car repsonded well to. i.e a coont.

ps. I can sell you one for £205 per month.
