every corsa c that comes into our garage is checked reguardless of what reason its in for, im pretty sure vauxhall told every main dealer to do it so if you use main dealers you should be ok. if anyone is concerned their corsa c needs the recall, u2u your reg and i will run it through the system for you

best off going by the chassis number mate
you can check it with the reg on vx care and it will come up with nothing
then try by the chassis number and find a recall it needs
tis rather wierd!
but there has been a couple that we have had to repair that have fired after they haven been reworked
the cause
corrosion had already begun in the wiring loom up to the plug that cannot be seen
we had a guy a couple of months ago from vauxhall come round and check one I did off the forecourt
all was good!
If i had one I would keep a eye on the abs multiplug even after the rework tbh
any green looking terminals are what you are looking for

One caught fire down my mates road the other week.
They had an article on Watchdog (I think) the other month about that recall with a couple of cars that had been in for the recall and still caught fire in the region of the ABS unit afterwards. It's hardly a new discovery.

Yeah I was just about to post the same thing – be careful when they renew the wiring to the abs block as I’ve seen a few that have still caught fire
