should be my next purchase, dont want anymore older cars, want something nice and repliable to keep for a few years and ive always had a soft spot for these,

ive called the dealer and asked the relevant questions,

apart from the usual problems, of manifold pressure sensors, and turbo's after 60k what else should i be looking for

any help much appreciated,

glass's book figre is a fiver below that, i haggled over the phne got a years extended warranty, and a full mot and service,

he will also hpi check it, i'd rather exras than get £100 anyway tbh

lovely, a guy i know had one, turbo went, so he put in a VXR turbo and injectors and happy days, is a beast.

i have vxr njectors in the garage, my mate bought them for his c20let then got saab injectors,

so i got the vxr's as i knew i was gonna get one of these

very nice

Check through the service history as many will have had the turbos reconed by this milage etc. If this hasent been done it may be a good haggling point as it will be fairly pricey if anything needs doing

yeah ill be checking that mate

im an ex vauxhall technician, no labour costs

bigger turbo will be in the pipeline anyway, but not for a good few months

Oh yes, I love Astra GSIs, especially in blue

I personally would get an SRI, just something about them, prob because my uncle had a red one, was smart as fuck.

Guy from thurso, i think, has a black SRI with a VXR turbo, its fucking lovely.

all seems to be sorted out.

fingers crossed ill be on a trip to manchester next saturday to pick it up

get my warranty so im gonna give it some stick on the wat home to make sure its ok whilst its covered by the warranty,

im going to try and get a new turbo out of the warranty too

it'll make me sleep easy
