as most of you know i'm selling my car to buy a bike, i've pretty much got my mind made up about which bike to buy. Im gonna get a kawasaki zx6r

this is the old style zx6r

and this is the new style

i prefer the newer style i think, what are your views?

now i know this is probably gonna be a stupid question but if you look at the 1st bike there is grab handles for the pillion passenger buy none on the new style bike. what would the passenger hold onto? would the have to hold onto me?

Thanx
Graeme

Yeah it makes sense, but i've seen loads of bikes like that.

The bloke used to tap my arm when he was goin to open it up (to 175mph) then i'd bear hug him.

My mates Pug Speedfight "beast" had a strap like that. I felt safe holding that or the spoiler behind.

But these bikes are a little different.

From those 2 pics i much prefer the looks of the older shape, the newer 1 looks too smooth and sleek which bikes dont suit imo.

the newer shape IMO but if your pillian is goin to hold on to the strap on the rear seat they are seriousley stupid as it is only sown on. you can get grap handles that bolt to the rear subframe tho underneath the seat so you do not have to cut the fairing and can take them off when ever you want. they arent that much really either, bout £40/£45 i think
