i got my windows tinted 2 days ago on my van and the boy said to not put them down for couple of days. however the company that did my last van said 5-7 days. is this just to let them set in place?

how long did you guys with tints get told to leave them for?

I left mine for 5 days in the summer, more than enough.

I left mine for 3 days iirc. Just to make sure they were 100% dried out.

I put mine down on the drive home still fine to this day 18months +

Just becareful with the top edge as it goes into the rubber seal, only bit that can really be damaged.

longer the better i would have thought... i dont have tints but just see how log you can stand the windows up

I'd literally only had mine fitted in the garage for 5 mins, went to reverse out and just put my window down without thinking Never did any damage.
