Right This all started about July 12th, When i recieved my usual salary from the leisure centre i work at, however i didnt recieve the overtime i was given . i calmly and politely informed the general manager who told me i would recieve it within the next week, this then changed to the 31st of july, this was fine and i accepted it,
I recieved £210 on the 31st which i thought was wierd, because its rare to be paid an exact amount, so i double checked it with the overtime sheets. and i found a document which said £317.35 worth of overtime, i thought ok thats more like it.
Understandably annoyed because thats what i was owed i left a note on the managers desk
"******* Payroll have continued to make errors the £210 that i was given has fallen short of the correct and appropriate figure. I would like this to be corrected and myself contacted preferably tomorrow. I would also like senior management to be informed as it is possible other employees finances have had their finances affected.
Dan"
She was on the phone to me the next day, shouting and swearing (literally) and told me i was rude etc, i would get the tax back at the next payday,(15/08/07) so i thoght ok.
Now i am redoing my Lifeguard course and i find the person i work with on a regular basis is getting paid for the 38 hours the course takes and im not going to get a penny, considering she doesnt drive and i do, all i am is a taxi service.
I will see her on monday to discuss the situation. Any advice suggestions or opinions gratefulyl recieved
