I'm trying to put together a short list of cars to test drive in the next few weeks and i'm after suggestions.
I'm looking at £15k maximum and no more than 5 years old.
the only real issue i have is that i'm into carp fishing and i need to be able to fit all my fishing gear in the car.
Just to give you an idea of the size required: I can just about get all my gear in the corsa with hardly any room for a passenger.
please post your suggestions. ta.

never really fancied an auto but i'm probably gonna start racking up a few miles this year as my dad has a boat in aberystwyth and its a 280 mile round trip so the auto box will come in handy.

if your gonna go for a bmw go for 2.5 or 3.0 turbo diesel even with auto box youll be surprised at the performance my 5 series 2.5 does 130 no sweat and it dont hang about getting there and it returns a good 34+mpg on a motorway run if i dont take the piss
just think of all that petrol youd burn on a 280 mile round trip in a 3.0 money to burn baby
oh and auto gearbox is tiptronic or steptronic whatever its called so you can drive it how you like

honda integra dc5 ?
can easily get examples for bout 10/11K for a 4/5 year old...
They also have a large boot aswell which would help with your fishing
all depends if u really want a sporty 2 seater effort or a proper car?

thanks for the info lads. i really need a propper car, ie 5 seats so couldnt really go for the integra dc5.
i'm gonna have a drive of the bmw this weekend but my mate is also gonna take me to a garage called silverstone where he got his beemer from. might aswell have a look into the diesel option whilst i'm there.
