Was there ever a vauxhall omega manufactured with a C20XE engine?
My mate took his car into a garage to have the clutch done......the mechanics claimed that his astra GSI had had an engine transplant from and omega. WTF and even the engine number matched up with the vin plate.
i tried to explain to the badgers that the later GSI's have a bigger flywheel and clutch plate.....they insisted that replacing the clutch consisted ofopening the inspection window to slide the plate out.
basicaly they were wrong as it was the later type, where the gearbox needed to come out.
and am i right in thinking that an omega gearbox wouldnt even fit an astra becuase its rear wheel drive?
