is it to be honest about a car your selling eh??????
I phoned a guy today for what I thought was a good clean Ibiza cupra but after a car check it came back as a repairable write off, the guy only owned up that he knew once I told him which really pissed me off, I said whydidnt you just tell me before I spent money doin the check on the car or at least put it in your ad??? all I got was "no problem mate" then he hung up 
Found one in derby now so hopefully the check will come back good tomorrow on this one

People expect the buyer to be an idiot and not check the car out I think. Probably got away with it before so tried it again, some mug'll buy it without knowing what it really is, that's the problem

i know what you mean, honest & car sales dont seem to fit right in the same sentance
at least you did do the check and saved youself a lot of misery/cash
i treat all car sales as if its a girl i want to date and she says shes a virgin but her handbag is full of condoms

do all HPI checks come up with the info u need, fron the £6 ones to ones that cost like £30

if the guy told you it was a damaged repaired car he would of had to sold you it cheaper as the cars value isnt as high
tbh if your going to keep the car for yourself for a good few yr i would try and knock him down on the price
i bought a 03 plate corsa c sxi 24k on the clock what had been accident damaged all it needed was front end lined up and sprayed and i payed just over a grand to get it and then another few hundred spraying it so i have got a 3-4k car for about 1600 which is worth it because i could never afford a corsa c on a 03 plate
