Ive got a gearbox on my way being collected on monday, should have it next week. Im using DHL, they add so many pence for everything over 30kg I think.

Hi,
Parceline will do from 30kg-50kg on Freight delivery, Over 50kg they will do a pallet. Pallets cost us £65!

Best thing to do is see how much hiring van is and cost of petrol & insurance for one day, probably work out cheaper.

id say ANC, but i hate delivering gearboxes/engines and stuff like that. picked up an engine on a pallet the other day....by the time i got back to the depot, the whole back of the van was covered in oil from the engine! the guy didnt even flush it out or even clean it!
mind you if its not going to pitlochry, it wont concern me
