Just been given a counciling at work. The reasons being..
"Getting off the till without supervisors say so"
The reason I get off the till is to go the toilet due to the fact I have a weak bladder, and those that know me will know I visit the toilet regulary. I think I have a shorter "pipe" than most others, not that you'd want to know. 
Anyway are they right in doing so in giving me a counciling due to the "act of god" shall we say?

Yes, and get the councilling session for tomorrow, and come early to the meet.

no they cant give you a bollocking for going to the toilet, unless they state that the till has to be manned at all times etc etc, but id challenge them on it saying it causes health problems if you was to wait untill you saw a supervisor to let you go!

Exactly, they said that for security reason but fucking hell everyone else gets off and leaves the till on.. They're also left on throughout the day...
I asked last week and they said no... I mean FFS do they want me to piss myself?
I'm sure the customers would love that!

just say "ok then, next time i will sit there and not go to the toilet and when the customers complain that they can smell piss, i will tell them that the managment staff do not care about the staff and wont let us go to the toilet," then the customers will walk out in discust, if not a little sickly from the stentch of your now drying piss,

Morrisons give councilings out all the time. I used to work there while at uni and got loads. Just refuse to sign the form and on the bottom of it where it says comments just have your say....

what exactly is the counselling for? A good emotional talk to your bladder telling it it can hold on longer?

if you have a health problem weak bladder or otherwise you should get a medical certificate/report given to them - they cant say anything then.

as colin as medical certificate would help you however In places I have worked before in a case like that they would take you off tills and put you on shopfloor.
Preety irelivant know you have walked out anyway, even if you back your likely to be taken through the discaplinary process
