So most of you will remember about our accident, is now 2 years this month since it happened..

Karen is now discharged from the consultant...Foot still bothers her but no more they can do..
She has been to see the head psyciatrist (sp) and his report going on, so hopefully the end of the road is near for her claim...

Been a long road so far...

My claim took 3 years they made 3 offers if i had rejected the 3rd and final offer then it would have gone to court.

If i lost in court then i would have been landed with 10k court costs!

I dont mind having a quid in a gambler! But i was gambling 20k with the chance of 35k! If i lost just walking away with 10k.

No chance i just took the 20k

Drunk that hit us got 8 months in jail and 5 year driving ban...

Colin i need 15k for my focus RS

1st offer was 8k about 1 year ago, was thrown out the water, missus has undergone a few ops now and only discharged from consultant last week...

At time of crash she was 9 weeks pregnant, ruined it all for her and the worry of baby being ok, thank god Chloe was fine..

It's a chance you take Gareth ain't it..........total gamble..

Missus had
1 punctured lung
1 deflated lung
Broken foot
numerous other complaints

Me and Kieran got off with cuts and bruises, i have a few scars...Kieran still talks about it, even though he was only 2 1/2 at the time of crash......

Claim for what Dav?

Yeh mav and i didnt have the balls to gamble! lol

My first offer was 10k second 17k final 20k. I no all claims are completely different but yours should at least double before it goes to court after the 3rd offer.

I know what your on about Mav.

My dad was knocked off his bike at 15mph early last year.

He suffered around 20 broken bones from his right knee up to his pelvis. 14" scar down his leg. They only took out the pins and plates the other day. So he's back off his feet. Can't sleep as he can't lie on his back or sides. Been off work for over 2.5 years now (2 weeks prior to the crash, he was only just allowed back to work after slipping 2 disks in his back an having them removed = 1 year off work).

He's expecting silly amounts, around £50k-£120k, but he's said the amount of pain he's been in the last year odd just isn't worth the money......

Saying that, he bought a new bike, wants to buy another bike like the one that was written off......

Mmmm Benelli Tornado
MV-R Augusta...

Check google images. Im pleased, if he gets both, he can ride one, i can ride the other

Accidents suck, and the other party never really seems to give a monkies either that they've just caused you no end of hassle for god knows how long. Mofo's.

Saying that, we were rammed not long ago by a drunk driver, no license, no tax, no MOT, 4x over the limit etc.. Thats on-going. It all just sucks ass. Un-needed hassle.
