My mates brother is the british champion so we got pit passes which was cool. Was a laugh to watch and good fun. Wasn't good fun when it rained for 4 hours straight.... and when its a 12 hour race you can imagine how muddy it got. So the race stopped at 1am (8pm - 8am).

Theres 4 different groups. 1 & 2 being slow, 3 is the quickest and lightest. 4 is the heavest but more horsepower. By 1am Dean was second. One of the group 3 cars (european) was less than a lap in front. He came first out of his group though (group 4).

This is dean having an interview.

so you buy yourself a sit-on from B&Q, take the govenor off, pop some lights on and your ready to go?

i thought there slightly more "special" than that?

no idea about power, but i'm guessing they're capable of 30mph? i'm completely guessing.

To start they have all the mowers lined up and the drivers have got to run from the other side of the track, jump on and the other two start it up and push They swap drivers every 40 minutes. well our team did due to fuel.

Seen this on TV quite a few times.

When it rains, i don't envy those boys. Its just a mud bath where mowers are constently driving over it.

Looks a right blast though, understearing, overstearing, drifting. Looks pretty tiring on the endurance races.

All motorsport is good motorsport.

they are modified but you can't exceed a certain limit in power. I think you'd buy a shell, then buy an engine seperatly and built it up from scratch.
