Animated? yeh that would of been cool in the 90's! Nowadays with our CGI they can make it seem real... and the CGI was fucking amazing in this film!

for the hardcore nerds that worship the original transformers, yes. But for the general mass market that actually bring in the money, CGI was and is the way forward.

I dont get why it needed to seem real though, they could have done it as conputer animation, like shrek etc

People/kids always think when watching Transformers cartoon "oh if only that was real, imagine if you had a car that transformed into..." etc. With the CGI used its more "real" than what it would be in a Shrek style. And with a shrek style you wouldn't have the action feel to it and it would just be weird.

They couldn't of done this any other way imo

i think the film is awesome i just think its gay how people can carry that block around like it weighs fuck all when it would blatant be a solid block of metal after it folds down

If Megan Fox was a cartoon you still would

No the CGI is fucking amazing in the film, a credit to the money spent and the advancement of the industry.

Disagree there's still a place for toy story/shrek/incredibles etc etc the stuff Disney Pixar produce is usually top notch.

I agree (all this agree/disagree is getting confusing!) that films like Shrek etc are still good as its that type of animation, and its in a comedy nature. I just know I wouldn't sit through 2.5hrs of it if it was an action film, it would be just like playing a computer game at home on the 360 (or PS3 before the sony cunts come out of hiding)

i thing CGI/HollyWood blockbusters are ruining films, there no so much about the storyline or the acting ability n e more, more of the WOW factor.
