They think he may have had a heart attack, he's only 6 years old.
He was diagnosed with diabeties when he was 1 years old, has to have blood taken from his finger throughout the day and has numerous injections every day. He's never well, always in and out of hospital, heart palpatations, irregular heart beat, enlarged kidney etc. He has keytones (sp) alot because of it too.
Mum just rang and said the ambulance have taken him away, he had bad chest pains, was clamy, was being sick and collapsed 
Im going to see him when im allowed, say a prayer for the lil man.

Sorry to hear that Craig, hope he is ok and recovers well. Such a tough life for a kid when they spend more time in and out of hospital rather than playing on their bikes or climbing trees etc...

Sorry to hear this, never good news when it involves a youngster.
One of my old neighbours had a kid who had bad heart problems similar to this by the sounds of it, had a few heart attacks by the time he was 5/6. He is now 10 or so now and seems to have put most of it behind him, hopefully this will be the same.

The sad thing is, this is normal to him. He very nearly died when he was 1 because it took them ages to diagnose him as a diabetic and he ended up in a coma and on an insulin drip for weeks. Diabetes can cause all sorts of problems when you have it from a young age, we was told all sorts of things that could happen to him in his 20's, he could lose his vision and allsorts.
Still, that's in the future, just hope he's ok now.
