if for example the clasp broke off a gold bracelet which also contained the hallmark, although the new clasp didnt have one, how would i get it stamped? is there any stamps on the web as i cant see a jewler doing it?

Surely the bracelet wouldn't have the hallmark on though?

take it too a proper jewelers, ie a working jewelers, they can send it off to an official who can have it stamped valued and returned to you for a price of about 20 quid.

i know because im a pawn broker, do it alot with a local working jewelers.
