Ok, its abit too scary how easy it is to break into cars.
My friend has a metro and she locked her keys in the car, so i just pulled the frame back and pulled the catch, then push it back together. lol

Come to think about it, the corsa frame work is just the same too

surely if someone was going to steel your car they would just smash the windon and climb in so deadlocks are indeed useless?

smashing a window makes plenty of noise, whereas bending the door back doesnt.

if you have an alarm it dont make a diff really and i thought corsas with deadlocks have a factory alarm.

what alarms do people recomend then? im wanting to de lock the doors so will need remote central locking but want peoples opinions on diff ones,, would prefere it to lower insurance abit too if poss (sorry to steel thread )

My car (GLS spec) has deadlocks and no standard alarm.

Nothing will stop people actually getting into your car i.e. glass but a Cat1 or more will prevent them from getting away with it.

Having a 12v shitter also helps

Well ive got a toad and im happy with it. Any Toad or Clifford will do the job
