Yeah Andrew every man and his dog wants to get into IT cos its good money.

I was thinking of it but i realised there isnt much point as there's to much competition.. and majority of companies ask for experience over qualifications anyway

Only in specialist areas of IT, i.e. programmers, etc.
General support and IT staff get shit pay generally.

Jesus I passed my details on to a family friend a couple of weeks ago, had a very positive call from an agency in the smoke specialising in market research analysts etc (similar to my last role) called 'rp cushing', got a phone interview with them later, also had another call this afternoon from an agency in manchester, got an informal interview with themon monday at 3pm,they've got something in mind at the top end of my last pay scale

Also per experience vs degree's question, i'd say it's very dependant on how specialist the role is tbh.

Niceone Tom Lets hope they do call

Was chatting to one of my mate earlier, one that's gone into development. Apparently they are looking for people to start there. Told him to have a word with his boss next week if i've not found anything by then. I just think i'll spend all day on here because i'll be that bored.

loafofbrett - I'm wanting to start off at the bottom and work my way up.
