i sold an item thru ebay last night, i suspected something dodgey as the guy used a temporary email address _____@spambox.us...
later in the evening, my suspicisions were confirmed, ebay informed me the account used to buy the phone was hacked...listed had been cancelled and fees credited back...this morning i recieved 3 mails

Yeah, the nigerian scammers have spoiled ebay imo, was it a phone you sold to the nigerians by any chance? I sold a phone to them, twice, had to relist 3 times!

that looks like a complete scam mate. Never heard of paypal sending emails out like the first one, I would wait and not send a thing and contact ebay/paypal.

i sold the phone and the seller looked genuine, even had an ebay confirmation, guy was in leeds...
but i suspected 1 thing, he used some email address i never seen b4

i researched and found out it was a temp email address that forwards mail onto ur real address then expires...
about 30min later ebay notified me the account used to buy my phone was hacked, this morning i recieved these 3 emails
even tho in my listing i stated no overseas bidders, will not post overseas
this looks the real deal, but it states my ebay user name, my paypal always calls me by my name only....and the
payverifyer@hotmail.com? lol surely its wrong

i know that, even in my inbox it says service@paypal.com..checked properties and it was from payverifyer too....
so i need not worry if i dnt respond? he has still got my email address
