If they are electric then....
Two screws on the cowlling which should be facing you (you will need to turn the wheel to get to them, one either side)
3 screws on the underside of the cowling,
Remove top and bottom of cowling, (with the top you might need to move the steering wheel around a bit to make it easier)
Then there are 2 screws either side of the dials and one in the middle on the roof of the dial surround. undo those and it will clip off.
Then there are 2 screws holding the dials in place, undo those and push the metal bit at the top of the clocks and they will just come out.
cable driven clocks you need to do something extra but the rest is the same.

you can't i dont think, and if you do chances are something will stop working properly as they are very sensitive instruments. you could spray them though?

What dials are they that you are trying to fit? if they are aftermarket you can suually slide them up the needle and then they should fit in.

Its easy to take the needles off, take a pair of tea spoons, one either side to lever it off. Just mark where it sits first, so you put it back on in the correct position.

Theres one just between the rev counter and the speedo, try giving the clocks a bang, see if it comes back on.
Buy some new blue bulbs if you need to take it back out again, looks with blue bulbs
