right why is it that kettles make a noise while boiling then go quite just before they click and then get louder once they have boiled??
i cant get my head around why they go quiet.
yes im bored at work.

water will have reached its boiling point, i assume the kettle cools a little before it clicks off

and the reason is does is so when you pour it or take the lid off its not going to bubble all over you
