Just heard this on R1 News.

They are looking to ban devices which warn drivers about speed cameras. And the use of them could mean a £60 fine and 3 points.

I'm going to look for some more stuff on this.

they've been trying to do this since 2001 AFAIK

Wonder how they will detect and stop people with Camera POI databases on there tomtoms?? They going to outlaw any kind of sat-nav system also??

someone said that the govt. were not building anymore speed cameras as a recent report suggested they hadnt saved any lives?

but they save lifes as they make people slow down for speed cameras which are places where accidents happen?

apparently as many accidents occur in places there are speed cameras as before, so this report apparently suggested

Dont have to worry if you keep it legal and to the speed limit.
I dont but then i should expect a fine one day.

They have speed cameras and road humps on the same roads around he which seems a waste of money to me, no way you can even go 30mph over humps without destroying a part of your car.

There killing driving now.
Always bringing out new laws but dont bother to tell all the people about them and then you get caught and fined etc

The one thing thats bugs me about speed cameras is that I concentrate more on my speedometer than I do the road. I don't drive fast, But everybody on the planet goes over by 4 or 5mph all the time
