Going to keep the Mk3 GTi because i love it to bits.

But really been looking at these all morning.........

much slower than u think but imo, they look nice and sound ok... saw a gorgeous subtley modded one the other day as well, looked fab

me too - i like new shape ones too!! They just look so smart but dont carry the sort of tag of a say a Type-R

how much are they second hand?

Looking from 10 to 14 for a mk4 really.

I know what your saying about the power Robbo - but they aint slow really, with 4wd as well makes it a real drivers car.

I love them teddy, look quality and I know they're not amazingly fast .etc but they have such a presence on the road!

Yeah its the presence thing really.

The 4wd is awesome - if you have ever owned a car with 4wd you will see what i mean.

Its good useable power (240bhp) You can play with em as well

Saw one go up the strip with an Astra VXR and to be honest there was hardly anything in it.
