My girlfriend was coming up to visit me on the M5 and she has been stuck in the same place for 4 hours! So annoying! The gay thing is that if this sort of weather continues then the gov't won't do feck all to the drainage system.

TBH this is the worst the rain has ever been..

And the amount of distruption that maintaining and ammending the drainage system, the government thinks its pointless

My mum, dad and brother are there as well, they're currently doing about 15mph at J6, J9-11 is closed to all traffic excect HGVs who are being allowed to use the outside lane.

weather's fine down here in the good ol' south east

ok it was pissing down at 4am but sun's been out all day

this is why i never usually go north when booking a holiday

My mates just phoned on the train from London, said he's passed it, was like a log flume when the went through it

He said he's going to get his photo when he gets off at Lime Street

Took me almost 4 hours to get the 35 miles from Newbury to Witney in Oxfordshire

A34 underneath the M4 J13 was closed so everyone was beign diverted over the M4 junction... which already had roadworks on and was also flooded at the top, down to only one lane barely passable

i went alton towers yesterday, was fine until about 1ish when it threw it down, was soaked within about 10 mins so stayed til about 6ish, you can only get so wet can't you, lol

it did rain in the southeast yesturday, but there was no flooding...sound pretty bad in the midlands atm
