Whats that my friend? And no, not a for KA! . I had the oil changed 3k ago and its no 103k and still running fine so thort i would treat it to some top shit oil Just looking around and saw 5w50 and 0w60 and i was wondering if that is over kill for a 1.4 corsa sport?

its definitely overkill for a 1.4 corsa sport especially with that higher miliage. stick to 10/40

Cheers mate, just trying to look after it now and see how many miles it can do - had water pump, cambelt kit, and alternator belt and tensioners done at 100k aswell as full service.
one last question, Would even 5w/40 fully synthetic stuff by to far?

5w40 Is to thin when its cold, 10w40 semi or fully synthetic is what you want

If you take your car toa vaux garage it'll be 10w40 they put in, whether it's supposed to or not.

nope 5w30 fully syn in everything now
10w40 for X series engines, and 5w30 in Z series engines

Not better, depends on the engine. If you put thick oil in a new engine it wont be as effective as thin oil as it will take longer to work round. Second number is when its hot
