yeh i would of thought she needed a uv-b bex! she'll need about 10-12 hours of light a day! i cant believe the shop sold you her without making sure you have the correct stuff! this is why i reckon their torts are imports! they do it for the money instyead of the proper caring way and making sure that they go to good homes. not your fault though bex. they are sucky sales poelple (sorry if you know them) lol

Paul I bought a viv with heat lamp and UV-b light.
I was asking if tortoises also need UV-b.

I have a viv for my tort with an open front.. idealy you want a big table with places to hide and sleep etc.
When i decorate my room i'm going to have a long table somewere attached to the wall and have some spot lamps and a darker place for him to cool off

what about outside matt? tortoises should live outside realy anyways but with some spot lamps. also i feed mine on weeds from down the road wich are free haha! he loves them

My tort is living in a 3ft wide by 18" deep encloser.. my next home for him is 6ft long by 2ft deep
