Just wanted to know have any of you owned one?

I had a Mk1 1.1 "Mardi Gras" edition before getting my Corsa I thought that they were "cool" little cars! - well handling wasn't too bad but thats about it

Especially 0-60 that would be the funniest thing I think mine was like 13-14 seconds! lol

from 50-60 would literally take 5 seconds no joke!

You sure yours wasnt a XSI? They are fucking quick for what they are, the 1.4 XSI could prob do that, 1.6 defo.

However, the mardi-gras, the one i was in, was a slow fucker of a thing, almost bad as my 1.2 8v

Yes I am very sure it wasn't the XSI - I was looking for something cheap & cheerful for my 1st car... and yes it was only a 1.1 8v about the same speed as many of the 1.2 Corsa's....

I wanted to get an XSI/GTI for my 2nd car however XSI are old and most have been trashed..? and the GTI is too much on insurance for what I am prepared to pay!

Hence the 1.6 Sport

same as most of the special edition things... I am not sure why Peugeot decided to make all of them they have absolutely no diff in performance only in looks! and tbh they look pretty weird!

they are ok cars for first cars I suppose got me from A - B but the Corsa does get me there quicker
