would 45/15 or 50/15 profile tyres make the car look lower (in the arches) or make no difference?

Probably totally wrong (and I am sure somebody will tell me I'm a twit if I'm wrong :lol but, I thought the 45 and the 50 is the offset (ET)? I think this will pull the tyre out into your arch more? Need to check that you wont get any rubbing against the wheel arch I suppose.

Don't think it would look lower in the arches there would be more room between the tyre and the arch unless you lower it moer to suit.
