Hi,
I thought I would warn everyone from using a company called Car Data to sell your car. cardata.co.uk
They rang me up after advertising on Auto Trader.
On the phone they claim they will sell your car within 7 days and they have buyers ready to buy, and you pay £79.99.
They have a £130 option where if you don't sell in 30 days you can get your money back, which is what I took.
However they haven't sent my receipt for the money back
They have not found a single buyer, or interested person even though they claimed they buyers interested when I placed my order. They don't reply to your calls after taking the order, and customer services don't seem to pick up the phone.
If you search this company on the internet there are 100's of websites stating what a con they are.
I can't believe I fell for this!

When I was selling a car on Autotrader I had about 8 different phone calls from places claiming they could do exactly what you just said. Wankers

Incomplete or unsigned refund request forms will not be accepted.

5. The advert will be removed from the Cardata service when the refund is issued.

I got done about 9 years ago by a similar company when trying to sell my bike. Was only about £40. Same bullshit about if you don't have any interest they'll refund you but I suspect I just got a blag call from one of their staff. No viewing took place. All cunts . This was long before the tirade of agencies and companies who offer this service now. I'd stick with the forums, auto trader, local rag, piston heads etc...
