anyone know how to get a back box off a car when it has been sealed with exhaust paste? mine wont budge? cheers

WD40 and try twisting it off using the pegs that the rubber attach too . Pulling it wont get tyou anywhere without twisting

i tried chappin it with a hammer but its semi difficult to find space for that under a car.this exhauste paste is like concrete

lol if i had a ramp i wud dance under it.am i not meant to be taking it away from the centre section becore the rubbers? cos i cant see how i would take ot off the rubbers first?

Best way tbh mate is to take the back box off the rubbers, twist it as much as you can to break the sealant. Then put your feet on the rear beam and twist the fooker which you pull it. It will come you just have to use a bit of tlc.

cheers for the tips,got it off and the new one on.sounds quite nice! ok its only on a 1.2 16v corsa b so it isnt the loudest in the world and it is mostly engine noise at higher revs but an induction kit shud kill the engine noise and make it throaty again at higher revs shudnt it? or even a drilled air box?

that will make it a constant deep throaty noise right up to the limiter? wot wud u reccomend for the panel filter? and wot sorta price?
