Looks fun, but I know if I had one I'd break it trying and I don't need another car to constantly spend money fixing.
This video's pretty mint too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ggqg6q5xegE&mode=related&search=

i paid around 200 quid for my car 6 years ago then spent loads on a speed controller and motor and odd bits but its only electric, i think you need nitro really to rc drift, they use plastic tyres aswell, i might get mine running next pay day and try a bit of drifting lol, looks fun

nitro is the last thing you want to be using for drift. I had one and put plastic tyres on it, the engine was getting too hot because it was revving so high and not getting enough airflow. I then went onto electric RC but it does get pretty boring after a while.

Kurt, you tl-01 will drift fine mate. Check out ebay for cheap plastic tyres . Top tip is to fill the rear diff with blue tack until the gears inside it can't move - makes the car much easier to get into a slide

they come as kit forms, brands such as hpi, tamiya, kyosho, etc all you do is build them, fit rc gear (bought seperatly) charge your battery (seperate) paint up the shell and away you go.. i think i paid around 240 5 years ago for mine and ive spent around 200 on different parts lol
