my mate has bought a r5 turbo yesterday.it had been stood for a long time,on the way home after it had been warmed up i put my foot to the floor,it jolted sort of back-fired and chucuked out alot of black smoke,this happens all the time i put my foot down and when the car boost's up.what could this possibly be??? could it be plugs or leads?? any idea's??

try cleaning the carb out? id change the plugs and leads if it was mine if its been stood
