The guy that i've provisionally sold my car to has let me down last minute (was due to go tomorrow) but the money hasn't transferred to his account. His bank said it could go in tomorrow it might not  I've held itfor him all week and i've had loads of interest. He seems a genuine guy and it's a definite sale, he's sorted the insurance and everything. I've just PM'd him telling him i'll hold it until next Sunday for him and if he can make it before then i'd appreciate it!
Am i being too nice? The thing that's p***ing me off though is that i've missed out on loads of cars i was interested in this week

Oh that's the other thing, he's willing to pay the full asking price! No knock downs.
Steve- i won't swap it, but if he doesn't come next week you can buy it for the asking price of £1700

What an absolute badger that potential buyer was. I held the car for him for over a week and a half. Today he was due to come and get it and has let me down  Needless to say it's strictly on a first come first serve basis now!!!!!

always take a non-refundable deposit if someone wants you to keep the car for them.
That way they are less inclined to pull out and if they do you have a bit of extra cash and can sell it on to others.
