My bests mates dad has a V8 landrover, and a v8 range both with LPG converstions. Both have seperate tanks under the cars so technicaly you can have 2 full tanks of fuel at once.
He said under normal driving you cant really feel the difference but when you give it some (and he drives with a heavy right foot) you can def tell the differnece. You also get slightly lower MPG when using the LPG

Would a diesel work out cheaper in the long run than an LPG? You dont have the initial conversion costs & you do alot better MPG but I suppose it costs alot more for the fuel. Be interesting to see how it compared!

yes..... but why spend 1.5k to save....
sell it and buy one thats been done.
You'll have to keep it for a number of years to save your outlay. How much is the astra going to be worth in those years to come. Not Much.

Im going to have to keep this car until I move from my flat to a house, so the longer I keep it the better, if I can save the money I spend after 3 years and i moved into a house in 3 years, I have a couple more years of half price fuel when I need the money!

You won't notice that much of a difference to your wallet, I wouldn't bother.

mate has lpg installed on his dodge ram and even had a tank installed at home.
Another is considering it on his SRT-10 for obvious reasons.
Anything less than that, I wouldnt consider it at all.
