im looking at a rear bumper atm on german ebay and have translated it into english but what does this mean?

"We do not have an Tuev appraisal unfortunately for this apron. Please you consider this before purchase. Possibly an entry is possible by single acceptance with the Tuev. This indication is without guarantee!"

TUV, some sort of standards thing?

In europe parts for cars have to be TUV certified to be legal, or something along those lines.

I'm sure somebody has a much better explanation than that.

stuff in germany has to be tuv approved, so it wont matter to you.

TUV approved stuff is usually a good fit and up to OE quality. saying that I have seen some reaaly shit products that have TUV approval.
