I have owned my Sony Brookland Speakers for about 1 year now and I have started to hear that the front left 1 is now distorting when I play my music slightly loud

I was under the impression I had purchased some decent speakers but obviously not

I am gonna try and get myself some Alpine Type S or R now....

Its the fact that your head unit only makes about 20-30watts rms so it does not take alot of volume to make them distort.

Simply buy a 2channel amp and this should stop them distorting at the higher volumes
