Dials are not working, dont know if they the cable has come lose/disconnected or broken/something like the, how would I find the cable/fix the problem?

does that mean the speedo or the whole thing?
The power and gaugues are through an ISO connector, take the dial surround off, then the dials and check
The speedo is prob cable driven not knowing your car though. Thats also in the back of the dials, or as ed said in the GB

if none of them are working check the fuses or the connector at the back. I would check that before i start fucking around with a gearbox

Hamish it really easy to change the speedo driven gear 
its just 1 bolt
