Might be going to Pacha next Sat night to see Cevin Fisher in New York. Anyone ever been clubbing there, if so where did you go?

They ID everywhere but driving licence is fine.

Best places for nights out are Meatpacking district and then SoHo/Tribeca/Greenwich end. Drinks very pricey, makes London look cheap.

Look at http://www.nymag.com

Also, speak to the people that work in the bars and shops etc as they can reccommend the less well known and normally better nights.

Also, the big clubs are the same as the generic big clubs all over the world, same name DJs, same tunes etc.

Try and get involved in some of the more underground stuff for a proper NY experience.

Yes Nik...went last year to Pacha NYC...all im saying is...dont expect it to be like clubbing back here...its full of quite old people in shirts and pants...where as back here its more younger people with individual styles...

The club itself if nice...really nice...drinks are a bit steep in there...we had a VIP table on the balcony looking over the club...you could only buy bottles of vodka at a time up there...we paid $275 for a bottle of Smirnoff...then your mixers are free...

Good night out though...we seen Morillo whilst we were over there...

Think Crobar has shut in NY for the time being! Really hard to find clubs on the net, I'm into house music but don't want anything too cheesy etc. Might ask a few record shops etc when I'm there. Got a cousin who lives in Wall Street so can ask him too
